The IBMP Follow Friday recommendations

The IBMP Blog and Twitter Roll rolls out!

There are many, many great bloggers and twitterers chattering away on the internet. Kind of makes me wonder why you’re here, but I’m glad you are!

I’ve been wanting to create a “blog roll” for some time now — that’s basically a list of blogs worth visiting. I haven’t because I figure that you probably want to see more than just a list of blogs I like. That means taking the time to tell you a bit about why I like them and what you might expect. And if I wait until I’ve done that for each of the gazillions of blogs that I like better than my own, I’ll never actually get it done and I’ll look like a schmuck for being the only blogger on the block without a blog roll.

So here’s the plan: I’m going to build the list as I go, adding a few to it every Friday. It’ll be the IBMP Blog and Twitter Roll. (It’s got its own tab up there on the header.)

The criteria for getting added are simple: I like the blog, the tweets and/or the person and they happen to be on my mind on Friday when I get around to it.

That’s it. There’s no special order, no formula and no, if you’re not listed yet it doesn’t mean I hate you. There are a lot of blogs and twitterers that I greatly admire, respect and enjoy reading and they’ll all go on the list eventually.

Why should you care what I like? Honestly, I haven’t a clue. But I’ll be listing those blogs and Twitter feeds that I think readers of my blog would be most likely to enjoy.

And if you have a blog and/or Twitter feed you think I’d like, by all means give me a shout and I’ll check it out.

I’ve started with 6 that I wrote up for a recent post (because that’s the kind of lazy slob that I am) and added another two just to show you I’m serious.  Enjoy.
